Notification of Posts

Not sure if this is where I should post this so correct me if I am posting in the wrong spot.  I am somewhat frustrated and hope someone can help me out.  I started a group called "Jersey Doodles" and for some reason I never get notification when someone posts in the group. I have checked "follow this group" and I actually checked "stop followig this group" and then changed it back to "follow this group" with no success.  Am I missing some obvious that I am not doing.  Kind of strange that as the creator of the group, I don't get notifications.  Thanks in advance.

Have you checked your settings for emails? Maybe something is off there. Do you get other email notifications from DK?

Email setting looks fine - I am going to try what Nancie suggested and asked F. Parker to post a "test" post since she is a member of Jersey doodles.  Thanks for you help!!!

As I recall, I had the same problem and it is because the "follow this group" and the "stop following this group" mean the opposite of what you think.  If you see "stop following this group" then leave it alone.  It means you are already following the group and if you click on it you will turn the "follow" off.  When you click on the words that will initiate what the words are saying...does this make sense?

I've changed it and have asked F. Parker (since she is a member of Jersey Doodles) to post a test post for me.  Let's see what happens - I'll let you know.  Thanks for the help.

I have been having problems getting email notifications from ALL the groups except the Food Group. I don't know what kind of mojo Karen has but it seems to be working!!! LOL!  However, I DO get notifications of COMMENTS posted in the groups but NOT discussions started in the same groups. Now that seems really weird to me and I have discussed it with Adina and tried all of her suggestions and I still don't get them!! :(

Strange, I could have sworn I responded to this discussion. Oh no I think it was in the Jersey Group that I responded.

Go to the group in question.

Click on "View All" for the discussions listed on the main group page.

At the bottom of the list of discussions on that first page, click "Follow" to follow the discussions in that group and get notifications.  Click "Stop Following" to stop getting notifications. 

That should do it!
