What Feature of a Doodle Makes YOU "Melt"?

After being so sidetracked from DK by 'life' lately, I took sometime yesterday and now this morning to catch-up. (gotta' LOVE those days off from work). As I was looking at all of the posts and pictures of everyone's doodles, I realized that there was one feature that always gave me an "AWE!" moment. Now we all love doodles for their intelligence, comical ways, and 'special' looks, but what is it that gives you that AWE MOMENT? For me.... it's a really black nose. I love the contrast of a black nose against the hair on a doodles face. Now, although it's very hard to see Tori's little black nose, it's there. But on those lighter colored doodles - it is something that truly melts my heart!

aw, I love those black noses, too!!! Especially if they're huge! When Lola gets her summer cut, her face gets cut too, and it makes her nose really stand out. It's so adorable. I saw "awww" about Lola (and other doods on DK) about a million times a day, so I'd have at least that many answers to your question! One of my fav's is when Lola is really sleepy and gets woken up for whatever reason. He has what I call "sleepy face"...she's completely discheveled, her eyes are half shut, and she lets out a big squeaky yawn. ADORABLE.

I haven't been on DK much anymore, but those Doodle moments keep me going......For SYDNEY, it's the way she purrs when we pet her, that loving sound just melts us......For OLIVIA, it's her very expressive eyes, and Olivia does the actress pose. She lifts her chin way up, turns her head and looks at us from the side. That's why she is our "OLIVIA De Havilland"!

For me it's a combo of Peri's soulful eyes - just the way she looks at me - and then when she gently swats us when she wants pets. It's like a mini high-5 to say "hey mom, give me some pets".
