What Feature of a Doodle Makes YOU "Melt"?

After being so sidetracked from DK by 'life'  lately, I took sometime yesterday and now this morning to catch-up. (gotta' LOVE those days off from work).  As I was looking at all of the posts and pictures of everyone's doodles, I realized that there was one feature that always gave me an "AWE!" moment.  Now we all love doodles for their intelligence, comical ways, and 'special' looks, but what is it that gives you that AWE MOMENT?   For me.... it's a really black nose.  I love the contrast of a black nose against the hair on a doodles face. Now, although it's very hard to see Tori's little black nose, it's there.  But on those lighter colored doodles - it is something that truly melts my heart!

This is exactly what I thought after I looked at the pictures (especially the 2nd one) on the computer.  Monty has a big nose, but it's not THAT big. :-)

For me it is Gracie's nose but also the look I get when she has her alert ears and she is looking at me.  That is when you just want to grab her ears and kiss her nose.  We also can't resist the Doodle sleeping pose.  All four paws up.  That always calls for us to rub her chest and kiss her tummy.

Yep...that is the picture.  But you should see it when a 73 lb extra long standard GD does it on a king size bed.  She is totally "out there" and so relaxed.  I love our Doodles!!!

I know what you are talking about. Monty is at 74 lb, standard GD. If he stretches all his long legs, he is like another whole person sleeping in bed. We have a king size bed as well and it's getting too small for the three of us....and we are thinking about getting one more doodle....oh boy. :-)
