Kahula is 95lbs and Paxton is 10lbs.  I have been buying the same sized bones for both dogs.  Paxton usually wants what Kahlua has and Kahlua really doesn't care.  So if I gave Kahlua the big bone and Paxton the small bone, the first thing Paxton does is lay the small bone next to Kahlua and sllllllowwwwwyyyyy, takes the big bone away from Kahula until he has full possesion on the big bone.  9.9 times out of 10 Kahula will just take the little bone, then when she's one with it (which takes about a minute) she will take her bone back.

Someone told me I should be giving them proportionate sized bones.  I'm thinking giving both of them the same sized bones isn't hurting them, I think.  Paxton seems content with the big bone, even if it's 10 times bigger than his face.  Then when they switch bones it doesn't really make a difference.

So tell me, is giving two very different sized dogs the same sized bone ok?

As long as you are talking about just chew bones (nothing they eat) I can't imagine it would make a difference.
I don't think it really makes a difference. Casey has all different sizes of treats and bones.
the only thing is when you are referring to actual "treats" they eat there are obviously more calories in a larger treat, that is the only time I would be concerned with size.
You are absolutely correct in that you cannot control who gets what bone. I don't have the extreme size you have but we had - 18 pounds to 65 pounds.  We give the same treats - large bones - even femurs.  The smaller dog  has NO problems with the larger treats, however he is a strong chewer. We also do not feed small bites but the regular sized kibble.
Myla who is smaller than Chloe always takes things from Chloe, just as you described. It's not a big deal unless it's biscuits or treats, than they should go by size of dog and be considered part of their daily food intake as well.
