Has anyone heard of this product for muddy doodle paws? http://www.jardenstore.com/productdetails.aspx?BrandId=502&pid=...

It looks good, but is it worth the money? I saw it on Amazon, (http://www.amazon.com/Paw-Monster-Microfiber-Cleaning-Tool/dp/B000X...)  which means you can use the DK link if if you want one. :)

I have one and it is a waste of money from my perspective. Someone else posted something for muddy paws that is like a bucket with brushes around it that you put the dog's paw into and then it gets scraped "clean" with the brushes. It might be in the grooming group. Found the link below:

Here is a description of the product... and they have it on Amazon, too!

oooohh, that could be good. I'll have to think about getting that!
I have something similar.....same material but it's a mitt - it really doesn't seem to work much better than an old towel....however, the mitt design makes it easier to grasp a leg/paw and wipe it down.   I think I picked in up either at Walmart or Lowe's.
Except the old towel is bigger and costs nothing. When you have two doodles there's a lot of wiping to do : )
yes, I have some microfibre type mittens that I use, but they don't seem to get the feet all clean. The doodles get really impatient with me in the meantime.
I don't know.  I still find the Baby Wipes the easiest way to go.
Baby Wipes for GIANT butts?   They would have to be really really big, Jane.  I have enough mud to slide down to Texas.  Honestly, it is making me crazy. I have BATH SHEET towels at my door this weekend.
a friend of mine says I shouldn't use those because the dogs lick their paws and the chemicals aren't good for them. I know Sophie doesn't really lick her paws but Winston is constantly chewing on his...

According to this, they're fine, even if the dog licks their paws.  I do get the unscented ones with no lotion.  I may ask my Vet next time though....just to be sure.  I just find them convenient to keep by the door and in the car.

Jane, we also keep these by the door for butts and paws. Then we dry with towels. I guess I'll ask my vet next time too.
Your doodles paws must be very nicely trimmed.  Baby wipes on hairy things just don't do much in my experience...too much surface area to clean where dirt gets trapped.  Nothing like a smooth baby's bum =)
sigh. isn't there some sort of magic wand out there that automatically makes all the doodle dirt go away?
