Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

It's always interesting to see the different sizes, shapes and rates of growth of our mini's as it seems to be so varied.   It's also difficult to know when reading whether a pup is a standard or mini and this discussion will simplify that matter for us.   Brady is from a small to med. Golden Retriever and a Miniature Poodle (about 10 lbs).    At 5 mos he weighs 18 lbs.   I'm hoping he'll stay on the smaller side... he fits so well everywhere including my lap right now!   Of course I'll love him to bits regardless of his size!

Brady is just too cute!

Ned grew to be just a bit taller than mini at 17" but his weight is within the mini range at 27 pounds.  Here he is at 5 months:And at 8 1/2 months - he hasn't grown since.

Cooper weighs around 29-30 lbs and is long and short.   He has maintained this weight for the last year.  He will be two in November.

My Meggie is a mini-Australian labradoodle and is 23 lbs ;)  We LOVE her!

My Lucy is an F1B mini - her mom was a 20 lb. poodle and her dad was a 35 lb. goldendoodle. I guess she takes after her dad, cause she's about 32-35 lbs. She's a great size for our rough and tumble boys - not too little and not too big. Of course, we'd have loved her at any size!

I think she reached her full size around 8 months - a year. She was 2 in September.

She has LONG poodle legs, but other than that basically looks like a knee-height GR.

As a baby at 9 weeks:

Fully grown at 1 year old:
