Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Today, I was up at the mall and they were having an Open House at our Hallmark Store. I walked in and was circling one of the displays when all of a sudden something started talking to me. Now, I have had this happen before when I forgot to hang up my phone and kept hearing my daughter screaming, "Mom!" from somewhere inside my purse, so I was not too terribly shocked by this voice coming from somewhere nearby. However, this time the voice was saying, "You know.....I think I saw a snickerdoodle around here somewhere. Here, doodle doodle! HERE, doodle!"  Well, of course I started looking around for a real Doodle and spotted this little guy instead.

He is called a "Wisecrackin' Gingerbread Boy" and since I can be a "Wisecrackin' woman" who loves two Doodles and all things gingerbread, I am sure this guy was made just for me and anybody else who fits the above description. Luckily, he comes with an off button which makes him the absolute perfect man for me. I can't wait to see if Fudge and Vern come running every time he says, "Here doodle doodle!" Just thought I would share my big find today!

OMD! Okay, I have NO Christmas decorations. Haven't had any in years, don't own any. (No, no dark secrets or anything, mostly just too lazy.) I must have this!
OMD......I put up six Christmas trees and my heart beats a little faster when all the new decorations start showing up :) Please, Jen, go get ONE decoration....LOL!!

LOL Laurie! Okay, I promise I'll stop by my local Hallmark and see if they have the doodle-doodle boy!

I had a Christmas tree every year ... until the year I picked up an 11-mo-old Border Collie from the airport on December 20th ... he walked through my front door and his eyes lit up, "Oooooh, I'm gonna LIKE it HERE!" and promptly watered it. "OMD, a tree IN the house!"  And now I think about what Pixel would do with a tree ... and just laugh hysterically at the thought! (Hmmm ... got a video camera ... might be worth the carnage!)

My husband would love to be married to you :) He hates getting all that stuff out of the garage. Wait till I tell him I found someone who has NO decorations. I bought a microphone that makes your voice sound like an elf and you can sing along to Christmas carols and I spent a hour yesterday in the driveway belting out those songs in ELF...LOL! When I finished, I said, "Next show at 3 pm," and he said, "I will be leaving at 2:58 pm." So, now you need a microphone and a doodle guy.....all found at your nearest Hallmark:) Wait till Pixel hears your new rendition of JIngle Bells.

LOL  Oh Laurie...  You're simply priceless!!!

Thank you, Joyce!!! I will tell that to my DH too when he gets home :)

Just for you, Laurie! Now I have ONE Christmas decoration! I draw the line at that microphone, though ... although I did take a moment to torture my office mate, who was silly enough to go to Hallmark with me. *grin*

Oh, and you can tell your husband being married to me is still no picnic ... I'm a complete failure as a housewife! I'd rather be playing computer games, so someone else will have to vacuum! LOL!

Jen, I am very proud of you, although, I think you made a big mistake not getting that microphone :) You are starting to sound more and more like my husband's ideal woman. He would love it if I wasn't so OCD about our house...LOL!!

Lachlan does not look too happy with your choice of decoration. Did it just say, "Here, doodle doodle!"

ROFL! I do hope your husband likes to cook, Laurie! It'd be nice to have dinner appear while I'm playing WoW in the evenings after work! (Oh hey, and have someone bring me a fresh drink every so often ... and offer to take the dog for his walk so I can keep playing ... and ... and ... )

The little gingerbread dude did indeed say "Here, doodle doodle!" Moments after I snapped this shot Lachlan snatched it off the table and ran. I was able to recover the poor thing before any damage was done and it now lives on top of my office bookcase.

I might be forced to go back for the microphone. Just to torture my office mates. *grin*

Jen, You had better keep looking...LOL. He used to cook, but doesn't anymore and he has never brought me a drink :) He does walk the dogs and he is house trained. I will think of you when I am singing my heart out in ELF.

How adorable...a wise crackin Gingerbread Man...complete with a button to turn him off when you want "a little peace and quiet"!!

Hmmmmm...

Laurie...I really did think you'd have more to say on That one!!  Lol...

I mean...just How Many "Things" would be "Better" with an on off button??

Well...I don't have the time to go into that right now...as it would take more than a minute or two...or three...or...

I'm sure that sometimes...Yes...even I might need an on off button!!  Lol...

In case you didn't know...talking is one of my Very favorite things to do...with or without an audience!!  Lol...

Great Find...

Thanks, Susan. Yes, I can think of lots of things I wish had an off button. LOL Of course, you and I do not need one at all :)
