We get our dog this Saturday! (So exciting). We need a good place to train our dog. We have heard Man's Best friend is great, but pretty expensive. Petco or petsmart good? We live in the Johns Creek/ Alpharetta area so somewhere close to there.

I've heard good things about Susie Aga http://www.atlantadogtrainer.com/index.html. We did not use her as we live in Lawrenceville and it was too far to drive. She works in the Alpharetta area and the rates were reasonable. We did use Cathy Bruce at Canine Country Academy http://www.caninecountryacademy.com/. I highly recommend her but it's on our side of town and I doubt it would be convenient for you. Good luck.

Eloise has been going to the Petsmart in Kennesaw and they are wonderful and reasonably priced. she has had the same trainer and loves her. i just got Sam 2 weeks ago and he is startingin 3 weeks

We paid around $110 for 6 weeks with Cathy Bruce at Canine Country Academy. For me, something in that general range would be reasonable. Sometimes, like anything, you pay for location.
