here's a neat project for a rainy day. If you don't have old jeans that you don't want anymore you could always pick some up at the goodwill.

Great suggestion.  I once bought a toy like this and whenever a knot comes undone, I just re-tie it. Sadly, I couldn't find them in my stores again. Now I guess I will just make one!

I really like the homemade dog toys and so do my dogs.

Here is another link I posted last Spring.  I made tug toys from t-shirt material.   They held up all summer.  Still going today.

It's a denim version of the lanyards we use to make as kids.  Now I know what to with all those jean legs that DD cut off to make shorts. :)
