That's a lot of calories! Where is it made would be my first question.

not sure where they come from.  Saw them at the doodle country store.  It is a lot of calories though you are right

I need more info. As F says, first question is, where is it made, and by whom? Second question would be, what are the ingredients?

I give JD Old West beef tendons. They are USA made and contain nothing other than beef tendon. I have no idea what the nutritional analysis is. It's possible that a big beef tendon could contain 361 calories, my nutrition reference books don't list items that aren't normally consumed by humans.

I called the company. American Health Kennels. I was told these tendons are imported from New Zealand , which I would think is OK. Karen?
I think so. I'm not crazy about that rolled up shape, I think JD would swallow the whole thing, but if there isn't anything else in it except beef tendon from New Zealand, it should be safe from an ingredients standpoint.

Apparently, the product sold at the Doodle Country Store is a different product than the one made by American Health Kennels.

Here's what I found for American Health Kennels:Paddywacks

Here's what I saw at the Doodle Country Store:Paddy Whacks

I prefer the latter, but if this is indeed a different product than the one you called about, we still need to know more about it.
