Neuto Max Dog food problem

I was feeding both my doodles on Neuto Max Large breed and adult dog food.  I had a problem with both doodles having extremely loose poops for weeks.  I thought they may have picked up guirdia because I caught them drinking out of a puddle in the driveway.  I tried probiotics, pumpkin, yogurt, basically everything for loose poops and nothing worked :(   Once I switched both dogs have the most perfect poops, I'm thinking it was the food.  Has anyone here ever have problems with Neutor Max???

I fed Nutro for 19 years without a problem. But Nutro was purchased by Mars Corporation around the time of the 2007 recall disaster, and I stopped feeding it. It is not on our recommended list.

What are you feeding now?

Hi Karen, Well the Neutro is in the trash!!!!  I think that is what was giving them the poops.  I gradually switched them to Welness (Sasha) and Blue Buffalo (Oliver) and amazingly no loose poops, they are firm and the way they should be.  I posted last week that I thought they might have guirida (sp) because of the mucus and very loose poops, I started switching them over to the new food and it cleared up within 2 days on both dogs.

Hey Kate..... everyone is all better now :)   It was the darn Neutro Max food.
