I have purchased a Go-Dog-Go Fetch Machine for Haley. The supplied balls do not launch far enough for Haley and in checking this out Go-Dog-Go advises me that the small ChuckIt ball and a standard racquetball will launch further.
My question is: Is a 2" or 2 1/4" ball too small for a large (standard) doodle? I am concerned that he might swallow the smaller ball. He has been playing fetch with the large Chuckit ball (does not work in the Fetch Machine).

Please make a video - I would love to see it.

Tennis balls only for my two.  Maggie is not a worry because she really doesn't play ball but KoKo loves to play and I know she would get a small ball lodged in her throat, she's that aggressive a ball player.  My granddaughter's doodle, Rosie, is a great ball player and they do give her racquetballs (her favorite).  She often plays by herself and they bounce much better.  Since all our doodles are mini's and have smaller jaws I guess the smaller balls are okay but I'll stick to tennis balls.

Daisy, a 65# Chuck-it Ball enthusiast, plays with all sizes of the line. That being said, she also does not "eat" anything but food. She tears into her stuffies, chews her toys but just spits it all back out.
