Stomach related shot reactions

Hey all, 

So Ollie got his 16 week shots yesterday and again had reactions to them. Last time at 12 weeks I did the shots on a Friday and so I had to take him to the Emergency Vet Clinic, but I learned from this and had his shots done on Wednesday this time. They gave him a benedryl shot beforehand hoping it would help with reactions and then he was to take benedryl for the next 2 days. This helped some because he did not throw up like last time and he was not quite as lethargic, but he still got really bad diarrhea. He is at my vets office now. He was still hyper and goofy this morning even after getting up every hour or so.

 

Does anyone else's doodle react like this? If so what do you do to help him/her? I would hate for this to be a problem every time he gets shots, but it just might be...

So glad to hear that Ollie is feeling better. I know how stressful it is to worry about them when they are sick, and I remember the horrible scare you had last time. Hang in there!
