Cracked pads

Monty's dew claw pad has been cracking constantly in our dry Colorado weather. It happens usually when he runs around with his girlfriend. It's usually the right paw as well. I keep finding the dew claw pad cracked and bleeding. Is this happening to any of your doods as well? If so, what's the remedy?

Is it Corn Huskers lotion? I see that they sell it at Walgreens.

Hope Monty feels better. I think the Mushers would be a great option if you are sure it's not getting caught up on something.

Woof and Hoof's has Mushers Secret. They are on Ken Caryl of off C-470. That is what I would use.

Thank you, Lynn. You are so nice. I did pick up a cream at a local pet store yesterday that should work as well. It's called Pal Dog and is safe if licked. So let me try this one out first. I will contact you if it does not work and I can't find Mushers anywhere else. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
