Zoomies

Hi all, I am some what new here. I always see the word Zoomies. Is this a word used to describe "active" dogs, or is it more than just that?

I love watching Knox have the "zoomies" when he's outside.  When he's inside, that's another story!!

[J and Riley (and Luna)]

Luna loves to stalk other dogs at the dog park, then take off in a zoomie-like fashion to get them to chase her.

She also gets the after-bath zoomies and the "I HAVE COLD PAWS!" zoomies!
