Dino Bone

  Wilson got a big dinobone for christmas he loves it !  I have been giving it too him in moderation, not sure if it has splinters. Has anyone ever given there Doodle one???   He loves this bone !

Do you know the source of the bone, i.e. what country it's from? Is it beef, pork or what? Is it smoked? I had a very bad experience with a large smoked dog bone last year, it did splinter. And it was U.S. sourced.

 It is smoked and is beef  I will have to ask my daughter if it is US sourced

I would avoid the smoked bones. The smoking process can soften them and they splinter terribly.

Canada is good in terms of the product not being contaminated. If you let him chew on it, I would only do so under your supervision.

 Yep, I do supervise him chewing and only give him a few minutes at a time too !
