Sometimes things are so funny and unexpected that you just have to share.
A few days ago my DH started a converstion with "I have to tell you what I did today and I really hope no one was watching". I was almost afraid to hear what he was going to say next. The story continued like this, " While I was at the golf course today walking with Quincy he was having problems with snowballs stuck to his paws. He had one that was really bothering him and he would stop every few steps and try to chew it off. Quincy couldn't seem to get rid of it so I tried to pick it off for him. I tried to get it off with my fingers but I couldn't get it either, so I took a quick look to make sure no one was watching and then I picked up his paw and chewed it off myself". OMD, I couldn't quite believe he had just said that, I found myself practically falling on the floor from laughing. When I finally stopped laughing I said " You know I am going to write a blog about this because it is just too funny to keep to myself". He just smiled, I think he already knew when he told me that his secret wasn't going to be so secret anymore.
Do you have funny stories of things that you have done for your doodles that would make other people say, "I can't believe you did that? If so please share your stories here, I promise not to tell, your secret is safe with me. :>)

Oh, I used to do that when Luca was a pup. Urine is sterile you know : )
You mean everyone doesnt do that?
When Rua was a young puppy, and DH was in charge of potty time, when she came back in if Rua had gone potty. He would answer,I think so, because he put her on the lead and sent her on her merry way. So, I would do the same thing....check to see if she was wet! Hmmmm....I was supposed to wash my hands after?''
Funny. I never checked Calla because she's usually a girl who pees at every given opportunity. It's Luca, aka The Camel, who needed to be checked.
Lucky for me I always took Quincy out on a leash so I didn't have to go there.
That made me spit the medication I was inhaling clear out of my mouth and on to my computer screen!!! I had such a visual of that.. So funny... I actually don't think I can top that story, but I have to say, your husbands love for Quincy is very heart warming.....
This made me laugh, Quincy does this when he climbs on the couch between the two of us. DH usually gets the business end and I just get to scratch the ears.
My dogs do this too, but I always get the business end :) How does that happen?
Too funny Parker! I think you have him pinned!
