Doodle Birthdays!

Today is Tanner's 1st Birthday! Time has flown by since I got him back in April of last year. Today he went to the groomer for a much needed haircut. Lately, he has been looking a bit like a bear! Anyway, I'm going to stop by Petsmart for some toys after I get off work.

Happy Birthday, Tanner!  We had a dog cousin pawtee for Ned's first and second birthdays. A smaller one for Ned and Clancy's third birthdays and from now one probably we will just wish them a happy birthday.

We do celebrate Haley's birthdays with special treats (usually homemade) and/or toys.  On Haley's Third birthday we took him hiking at a conservation area.

We just celebrated our Golden retrievers 2nd birthday the other day, with a Birthday biscuit from a local Dog boutique, and party hats and "cupcakes" for our other 2 dogs, one which is Chloe our goldendoodle. I made all 3 dogs wear the hats and took pictures. We will have a party for Chloe when she turns 1. She is just 6 months as of yesterday! = )

My Facebook friends that saw the pictures said they were cute, but they think its time for me to have some grandbabies! LOL~

Happy Birthday Tanner !!!  I celebrate both my doodle's birthdays, they are my fur kids.  I invite the family and friends over for dinner or a BBQ, they get presents, special treats, a special meal.  I have a b-day cake (for human consumption) with candles, we sing happy birthday, wear party hats - Oh yeah I go all out every year.  Oh I also take the day off from work if it happens to fall on a weekday and take the birthday doodle out alone with me for some special "togehter time" either to the dog park or a nice long walk.  I try to make the day very special for them because they deserve it !!!!

Usually, I just sing "Happy Birthday" to them. Unfortunately, no one else in my family seems to think my singing is a treat, although Fudge and Vern seem to like it and that is all that counts...LOL!!

Happy birthday Tanner!

For her first birthday we took Luna to the off-leash dog park (her favorite place ever) and played with her more than usual.  She loves to play so she definitely had a fun day!  She also gets a present - her first bday present was a nice big bed, since she had "graduated" from needing to be crated at night.
