Has anyone used Bonies. I just got notice of a sale and they sound OK to me as far as ingredients. Although given some of the ingredients I'm not sure the dogs will love them. They are supposed to be good for cleaning the teeth.

F, I can't tell who makes them, where they're made or if any ingredients are from China. That would be my main concern.
There doesn't seem to be any animal protein in them at all.
I was using a similar product for JD which I know was made and sourced in the U.S., but I'll have to do a little digging to find the name as I can no longer use them and don't have any here. I think the ingredients looked better than what's in these.
I'd be interested in the name too-thanks Karen
Here is the website. My major concern now that I've read more is that the regular size is 163 calories. This couldn't be an everyday thing here. Calla would look like Jabba the hut or whatever his name was.
So at least we see they're made in the USA.
Aside from the calories they sound good.
Bummer-DH would freak at the calorie count-but...if it helps Myla's teeth???
That is for the regular. Are Chloe and Myla over 25 pounds. The small Bonies have fewer calories, 66 calories.
DUH! Yes, Myla is 18 and Chloe is around 26-28lbs. That sounds a lot better.
The ingredient link is broken : (
And I can't find the info on-line. But I do think it was probably similar to the Bonies. Rice flour, I definitely remember. They have several different flavors.
Zukes makes the Z Bones dental chews which are similar in appearnce to the ones I was giving, and we know Zukes is a good company.
I checked them out I didn't see a calorie count but I may have missed it. Luca won't eat apples, Calla of course pretty much eats anything. I don't know about the berries. Sadly the carrot crunch can stain carpets. I may just wait a bit.
