Water face

[Rachel and Ollie]

Okay so Ollie does this thing where once in a while he will stick his whole nose in the water...its real bizarre...I'm wondering if he sees himself in the water bowl. Do any of your doodles do this? (I'm only asking b/c I find it funny, not b/c it needs to stop)

[Doris, Knox & Flash]

I must not watch Knox as closely as you watch Ollie!! Knox used to put a paw in his water bowl and make a huge mess, but I've never seen him do the nose thing, lol!

lol, I guess I just look over and see he is staring in his bowl and then just dunks his face...oh Ollie. Knox does that to be funny.

Oh yeah.... my Oliver seems like he puts his whole face into the water bowl - LOL.  He is a very messy water drinker.  It sounds like your Ollie sees himself in the bowl.  I have a towl down in front of the water bowl to help with the mess.   Doodles are so goofy !!!

I hope Vern never figures out how to do this. He is such a messy drinker without sticking his whole face in the water dish. LOL Fudge is little Miss Priss and does not do it either. Funny little Ollie....you should get a video. It sounds hilarious.

LOL how cute is that.

Daisy is a neat drinker, she rarely makes a mess, unless her bff comes over than it's a race to see who drinks the quickest and the most at the same time, water everywhere.

Could Daisy come live here, please? My guys just walk away from the bowl with their mouths open and then rest their head on my lap. GROSS!

[Jane, Guinness and Murphy]

Murph dives into his water bowl, drinks, and then goes and wipes his soaking wet face on the furniture.  Guinness is a little gentleman when he drinks.

Jane... Oliver does the drinking and wipes his face on the furniture too - LOL.  Sasha eats and drinks and then wipes her face on the dining room wall !!!!  Each week when I wash the floors from all the doodle mess I have to wash the dining room wall because of Sasha.  The furniture is a light brown micro fiber (the best fabric ever made) gets a good steam cleaning once a month. 

 

[Jane, Guinness and Murphy]

I guess I'm lucky Murph never thought of using the wall....LOL.  Unfortunately we got our sofa "pre Doodles" and it's white.  Not a good choice with Murph around. 

[Barbara B., Sasha & Oliver]

OMG you have a white couch !!!!!!  yikes !!!  I have white carpet in my bedroom "NO DOODLES ALLOWED" :)   Sometimes Ollie just likes to drip dry all over the place, of course when I'm napping on the couch he has to drink water then come by me to give me a kiss while I'm sleeping.  This is not a good way to be woken up at all :)

Oh Sasha! That's a new one! The wall as a towel! Owen and Kona will occasionally rub their faces on the carpet but they prefer my leg as their towel.
