Anyone have any suggestions where to get dog bed for the cage at?
I was using the ones I have from my yorkies but Cocoa is outgrowing them very fast. The ones at the pet store start at $30.00 and to me that just nuts.

Same here!
Sophie too!
I wasted lots of money on these things. Riley just digs them into a ball in the corner and sleeps on the horrible bare crate floor : )
Yeah this is why I am trying to find cheap ones. Right now she lays on hers but I dont know what she might do as she gets older.
Her cage bottom is metal not the plastic ones so I think it might be a little cooler.
A fluffy bath mat would probably work well and easy to wash.
Bath mat scares me. My parents dog ate a bath rug once and because its like a spool of yarn and just unravels the Xray was crazy. Some how she passed it through but the vet thought he was going to have to do surgery on her.
Good point if your dog is likely to chew this is probably not a good option. I made a bed to fit Quincy's crate, I bought a foam and covered it with a durable fabric that I could take off and wash.
Yes she is a chewer... but she is also 13 weeks old so might outgrow that. But she takes the one in there now and will pull it out to just play with and toss around the room.
Bailey liked sleeping on the bare plastic floor too....Too hot for her here in Florida. I actually used a large bathroom rug with her for a while when she was a puppy. But she just scooted it into a ball in the corner of her crate...
We live in Ohio so its a little colder here. I see warmer days this summer when we might have the A/C off her getting warm but for now she likes her bed.
We used to use a regular (human) pillow - Luna has a 32" crate and it fits perfectly. Now that we can trust her not to destroy it we just use a folded comforter - I folded it in such a way that it comes up the sides a bit to cushion the corners. Works well and she seems very comfy!
While she was little we also covered the pillow in a plastic garbage bag then 2 pillowcases (covering in opposite directions). The crinkling of the plastic bothered her for about 10 minutes then she got used to it and this prevented her from finding the shiny zipper incredibly tempting.
