GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS:  We changed our Doodles' food to Orijens about a month ago after reading great reviews on DK.  We opted for the Red Meat variety and add a bit of warm water to moisten it.  They like it and most times, they eat their entire bowl.   Now for the BAD NEWS (actually bad for us!): they are sure making "silent but deadly" stinkers after they eat the Orijens.  Do your Doodles make these stinkers from their kibble?

I had to switch Beamer to a different combo with Orijens. No problem now.

Riley did lots of those 'silent but deadly' ones for about six weeks after transitioning to Orijen.  It settled and stopped, I admit with two of them it must be pretty awful but it does end and Orijen is a really good food so I would say it's worth hanging on in albeit with pegs on noses LOL

"Pegs on noses", great idea!  Especially since our Doodles always lay on our sofas with their butts facing us!

Teach them a new command, "Turn Around" : ) But yes, when changing food some gas is not uncommon.

Too funny, "Turn Around"  Sounds great as we wear pegs on our noses!   We will have to try that new trick.  Olivia only knows how to lay on her back for belly rubs.  Maybe she gets a belly rub after she turns around!

Good idea : )

When Gavin's grain free GO! changed their formula he had "SBDs" for the first five days and then all was good.  I can't imagine one month of it or six months of it (NIcky!!)

Bailey has only ocassionaly been a "stinker".  She does burp with her mouth open after eating to quickly..Nothing like a little lady with manners hehe

With dealing with the possible Giardia and swapping foods and going on and off the RX food Cocoa has become pretty ripe smelling...lol

I am hoping once we get this all figured out and settled on a food it will not be as bad.

My friends pugs are on Blue and she said its horrible gas but its the only food they will eat.

When we switched to Orijen they had some pretty smelly ones for a couple weeks (we're on 6 fish) and thank goodness it went away-now they are few and far between! Good luck.

We added ProZyme to their food to stop the stinkers. It worked like magic. It's a digestive enzyme.

My doodles have stinkers every so often, Ollie is on TOTW and Sasha is on Wellness.  I think the sinkers come from different topper I put on.
