Luna doesn't try to "Defend" us persay, but she does warn us by looking at us, looking at the vacuum, looking at us, looking at the vacuum.. prancing in circles... yeah I'd say she doesn't trust it AT ALL.

Quincy tries to attack the vacuum and manages to snatch and grab the cloth off my Swiffer vac while I am using it. There was a time when he would walk anywhere near the vacuum but he is a little braver now. My previous dog used to love having her ears sucked up in the vacuum hose.

My last dog was so afraid of the vacuum that I could only do it when he was outside.  I had to vacuum a lot because of how much he shedded...I guess he was outside a lot....NOT!

Bandit has declared war with Oreck vacuums, no other brand seems to bother him... Silly dood!

Oh I thought I was going to be so smart!!!! I saw the title to your post but I had not read it yet, then I was surfing on Face Book and saw this same picture, I saved it to my computer and I was going to post it on here.. Dang.. I was going to be funny, Maybe tomorrow.

Jack doesn't love the vacuum.. he doesn't fear it.. every once in a while he tries to remind it who is boss if it is parked waiting to be used and he may bark. He usually leaves the room I am vacuuming in and then when I am done, runs around the room and gets his paw prints on my fresh clean lines!!!

Sasha is terrified of the vacuum, she just gets so scared.  It never bothered Ollie but lately he has been running from it too !!!

Snickers does not mind the vacuum DH got him used to it as a puppy. But he will move all of his toys from the floor and put them in his crate when he sees the vacuum come out. Can never be too careful when it comes to
Toys!
