It's Limerick Time.

For those who just can't wait to rhyme
Thank goodness it's Limerick time
You may be a poet
And not even know it
So let's see those poems sublime

Last year I had a little idea that quickly grew into the War of the Limericks. It seems that Lauricki some folks have been waiting a whole year to do it again.

 
A Limerick is a kind of a witty, humorous, or nonsense poem especially one in five-line form with a strict rhyme scheme (AABBA), which is sometimes obscene with humorous intent. We'll skip the obscene and just go for the humour. The Limericks may be on any topic you choose.

 
There once was a bunch on DK
Who sat at their computer all day
Their house was a mess
And they seldom got dressed
When there was a fun game to play

The good news about what to wear

There is always more there

In the closet or store

Just threaten to buy more

DH will fix it, no fear

The problem is I only wear jeans

When I walk the dogs and in between

I lead a boring life

I don't even Skype

So, he will call my bluff, it seems

I think you are silly

No tops on at all

What will befall

Those who leave without shirts willy nilly?

My uniform is jeans and black tops

To walk my two adoring mops

Of course I wear shirts

But, never skirts

Otherwise, someone might call the cops

If you are walking dogs with only jeans on

If you call that boring

Oregon will be adoring

And just think you won't even need a carry-on

I don't think Oregon is the place for me

Too many topless beaches for all to see

I must stay dressed

So others aren't stressed

I don't need the looks or the tee hees :)

The washing machine has now been repaired

Telling DH your options made him quite scared

He started hoppin'

And I missed out on shoppin'

Taking great pictures of Quincy in dirt

Or is she in the slammer unable to make bail
