What an incredible woman!

Suzi Barrett, the actress/comedian who is the 'mother' being shown in the Milo's commercial is in the process of breaking her contract. She will no longer be the spokewoman to treats that kill our furkids. All their chicken comes from China, which they post right on their website.

Bless you Suzi Barrett!!!

Lynn, can you tell us the brand of the treats?

I would not think of Nylabones as a treat, but yes, Nylabones are made in the USA.

It's nice to hear there are some good folks in the industry who are willing to take a stand. I cringe every time I see doggie treats in people's carts at the discount stores.....usually along with the huge bag of useless kibble.

Yes, I pretty much only support our local dog stores anymore...they don't sell the "big dog companies" PLUS it's better to support the local business owners! But I am lucky and live in a bigger city where I can find excellent food and treats at probably 5-6 different stores within a 10 mile radious.

Until someone posted a China Chicken Discussion here on DK, we mistakenly bought the Chicken Treats 2 times...imagine my horror when I realized I was poising my dog! We had previously gotten her the meatballs and checked them out first...yep, made in the USA so naturally we assumed the chicken was too - You know what they say about assume!
