Please help a frustrated woman try and figure out how to get a good picture of TWO dogs.  Today, we went to the park and I snapped lots of pictures and not ONE was any good. It is usually Fudge turning away from the camera. I have tried holding a toy or stick. I have tried the "watch me" command and usually she turns for just a minute and then as I snap she turns away. How do all of you get such great pictures of TWO dogs?  Here is just a sample of some of the outtakes today.

Having only one doodle, I cannot help you.  Just wanted to tell you that all of the shot of Fudge and Vern are adorable!

Thanks, Anne!

I think lots of these are good. The last one is my favorite.  I would say you are doing great in the fact that both dogs are in each photo!  LOL.  I have trouble with one dog and often when I look at the photos, he is not even in them!

Thanks, Linda. Your comment made me laugh :)

Would you b e able to hold the camera and a treat at the same time? That is the way I do it.

Sometimes hard to do though with a heavy camera and lens combo.

Sue, I don't know, but I will try. Half the time I forget to take my lens cap off or turn the camera on and the shot passes me by. Maybe a treat will keep Fudge's attention on me. Thank you!

Yes-that's what we do too. Sometimes it helps.

I like several of these but I can totally commiserate about taking posed pictures of multiple doodles.  I thought two doods was a challenge and now that we have three I've almost given up trying to get a decent picture....it might be easier to perfect my non-existent skills on photoshop.

I cannot even begin to think about walking or photographing three dogs. My hat is off to you :)

Vern and Fudge are so adorable!   When Banjo was younger I used to wave a bit of cheese in front of his nose...then place it on the top of the lens and snap away.    He rarely took his eyes of that camera!

Carol, I think you get the prize. They love cheese. I am going to try this very soon.

LOL   Laurie....I use teeney bits of cheese....these may be overkill.....just sayin....
