DK and what it means to me

I never knew when I stumbled upon this site just how much meaning it would bring into my life. I have been so blessed to have a place to share my crazy insane ideas about Jack, believe me I know they are crazy.....but I always get comfort from the seasoned dog moms who tell me it is okay.

So many friendships have formed, so many close friends. So many I think about on a daily basis .

Who knew when I left home on March 22 I would be stuck in Colorado for so LONG, away from my family and friends, facing by far my biggest health challenges ever.


I have not felt lonely while I have been here. So many people that I am connected to through the Paw Pad and DK have come out of the woodwork.

Jarka and Monty are one of them. I am staying at a hospital at least an hours drive from where Jarka lives. Jarka has come to my hotel a few times with Monty, taking me out to eat and now since being in the hospital she has brought him to me to snuggle.

Monty lights up my whole day. He really likes me. When he sees me at the door he makes a cry to get to me! Today he did that my heart lept and I guess Montys did too. He jumped across the room up to his spot on my bed. He looked like a frog with his hind legs clinching to,the back!

He snuggled with me a very long time. Laying on the bed, letting me pet and love on him, wagging his tail...filling me up,with doodle love.


I finally had to go,to the bathroom, he waited so patiently for me whe. I came back, he was so excited to see me. He kept back up in bed and snuggled.


He is an amazing dog....I am proud to call him my nephew, my Colorado goldendoodle.


Jarka is an outstanding person and now dear friend. She has offered to do anything for me. She brought me good luck,charms, a beautiful sun from her country and on her day off, she sat with. E for a good while and let me talk about anything I wanted.

I don't know how to thank her...to thank all of you, to,thank DK I would be here alone right now...scared and worried. Instead I am distracted with the love of DK

Aww, Jenn. I'm just immensely happy we could help out a bit. After all, DK made us all a family.

Monty is in love with you (and I can't blame him). It was really funny how he started barking when we came and the nurse was taking her sweet time to wipe the floor in your room. Patience...he has none... And I can't believe he snuggled for such a long time! I don't even get that! LOL!
