Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
How are all the puppies doing? I know there are quite a few of us with new puppies right now. I thought it'd be fun to check-in and see how everyone is doing.
I'll go first...

Type of Doodle - F1 Goldendoodle (standard)
Color - Apricotish?
Name - Pippa (Pippa Jo/ Philippa Josephine - technically)
Age - 17 weeks
Weight - 27ish? - been a week or two since was weighed
Likes - Puppy play time, puppy manners class, snuggling on our bed before going to her crate at night, rough housing with daddy, long walks with mom, meeting adoring strangers on said long walks, fetch, anything she can chew, trying to climb into the shower with us, riding shotgun.
Dislikes - The vacuum cleaner, garbage truck coming down our back alley, being left alone, sleeping past 7 AM (ugh), when people walk past her on walks without stopping to say hello, baths (but she likes showers?!), riding in the back seat.
Tricks - Sit, down, stay, paw, "go to your place", come (when she is not distracted - ha), crate.
Potty trained - Yes (well, knock on wood, it has been a few weeks since she has had an accident).

We love our Pippa girl!!!
Thanks! We think so too. I was checking out your page - Rooney is adorable. We are big soccer fans too (when I was a kid I used to tell my mom I was going to marry Ronaldo haha) so I appreciate his name!
of Doodle - F1 Goldendoodle
Color - Red with a white patch on his chest *swoon*
Name - Cider
Age - 14 wks
Weight - 30lbs
Likes - a frozen peanut butter kong, laying in the grass, chewing socks (he knows he isn't supposed to!), rolling on his back for belly rubs and playing fetch.
Dislikes - The ear cleaner, getting caught chewing on something he is not supposed to, occasionally dislikes car rides, getting picked up, bitter apple.
Tricks - Sit, high-five, shake (switch paws), lay down, "leave it" and escaping his crate ONCE (that was a scary trick!). We are still working on "drop-it", come, and stay.
Potty trained - He's got it down. Sits at door and barks when he wants to go out. We are so lucky. He's been pretty great since we got him.

Quite the impressive tongue in the middle of that darling baby face!
All the doodle puppies are adorable. I'm loving reading about them and seeing their pics.
That IS a great idea and Finn is precious. Super cute picture.
Type of Doodle- F1b Labradoodle
Color- Black
Name- Norman Cache (we love geocaching & he goes with us) Edward (Twilight) Ray (family name)
Age- 5 1/2 months
Weight- 23 lbs.
Likes- To fetch as long as you can hang in there with him. Loves playing with our other dogs and the ones at doggie daycare. He loves getting my daughters clothes when she leaves them on the floor. He thinks she is his Momma. He like harassing the chihuahua the most. He loves to gnaw bones, sticks, chew toys but thank goodness... not the furniture. He loves baths and tries to get in the tub by himself every day. He has even figured out how to turn on the water by himself. He really likes stealing the stopper and we are always having to chase him down for it. He likes to "give you five" and get a treat for it. He loves being outside, but since we are in MS and it's already hot as blazes he is wanting to come in after just a little while. But while he is out there he likes nipping at grass, playing with the other dogs and always wanting to eat a dirt clod. And he loves his stuffed pink giraffe that we gave him when we picked him up & all of my daughters stuffed animals. And he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES having his belly scratched.
Dislikes- Being alone. And he goes CRAZY when we pick him up at the doggie daycare. It takes him a while just to calm down. He's not alone there and has fun with the other dogs, he just misses us and is super happy to see us.
Tricks- sit & shake
Potty Trained- 90 percent. We are still trying to get him to give us a better signal than walking around sniffing. In the middle of the night that doesn't help much. I put up bells, but can't seem to get him to ring them. But at 2 am this morning he decided to stand beside the bed and shake.. and shake... and shake. So that was his sign for the middle of the night I guess. We went out and he did his business and then back to bed. We have been trying to crate train him, but since he is in daycare most of the time we really haven't had to keep him in the crate. Now when we are not paying attention and he has to go... he goes in his crate. So, we are going to have to work on that. I thought about just keeping the door closed to it, but I had rather have him go in there than on the carpet. But all in all he is doing great. It has been about 2 weeks since he just used it on the floor. So I think he gets the idea now.
We all just love him to pieces... everybody except Lulu... the chihuahua. He is just the most sweet and loving puppy ever. And cute as a button. We are all so happy he is a part of our family and can't imagine it without him.
Love his tilted head!! What a sweetie!!
Thanks!!! :-)
I wonder if I an order one of those head-tilting doodles for my next puppy (10 years from now). LOVE it!
