This is sort of fun and important too. I liked this guy although demonstrating all this with one towel would have started his project off on the right foot hand : )

Funny, because DH and I were talking today about how many paper towels we use! We average about 4 rolls of recycled paper towels a month. I read on one site that the typical household uses 2 rolls a week. So I guess we aren't doing too bad and someone else is using the rest of our share! :)
Funny, but I think he needs two paper towels, one to dry his hands and the other to wipe up the water he shook everywhere.
LOL! Good point!
LOL
I know we use more paper towels than we should but we do not use them to dry our hands. We have cloth towels for that. I use them in the kitchen and often for napkins... (cheap). I like the choose a size because I never need one bigger than the smallest size. I think it's a riot that he spends this much time explaining and demonstrating his technique. Cute.
I agree, Bonnie, that's a lot of time and repetition to demonstarate drying your hands. My wrists were aching just watching that shaking...hey, that rhymes!
Yes, it occurred to me you could develop repetitive stress injuries from his technique.
I use a lot of paper towels. I don't know how many rolls per week, but it is rollS per week. But I do put them in the recycle bin, I hope that helps a little.
Repent! Whoops, I forgot to be nice. Repent please.
LOL, F! I'll try, but I am sort of a paper towel junkie. As I type this, there is a crumpled one here on my desk that I must have carried in here with my coffee this a.m. Paper towels are kind of like Linus's blanket to me, I always seem to have one in my hand.
However, I don't normally use them for cleaning, like many people do. I still use good old fashioned rags that I wash and reuse. Most of my rags are from old flannel nightgowns and it's amazing how long they've lasted. I wore some of these when my DD was little, and she's 32 now. No disposable cleaning cloths. That counts for something, right?
Absolutely. Cloth rags here too. I use very few paper towels but each time I buy a supply at Costco I say to myself it's a lifetime supply. I have outlived lifetime supplies of many things.
I also don't use any "Swiffer" type disposable cleaning things with those pads that get thrown away. I still use an old fashioned mop and a bucket to clean the floors.
