Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We have an on going discussion in the photography group. Shoot the Moon. Many of these shots were taken with a telephoto lens. Not tonight. All you need is a regular camera or even your cell phone. I'll be taking the music of Nora Jones with me ( thank you Donna). Here is the music.
There are a lot of old legions about the SuperMoon: going insane, going blind.. anyway, it is powerful.
BRIAN WILLIAMS explains in this next video about the Supermoon

Even if you don't feel like taking pictures, enjoy a beautiful evening outside with your dogs.
Here is how:
The moon will rise at 9:35 EST tonight. The first hour or two is the best for capturing the moon.

Great shots, Joanne. I love how FJ is pointing in the wrong direction. Those lake cottages are beautiful. I forgot to look last night. Glad to see someone was on the ball!!
These are not cottages Laurie, year round homes. Some are and some are not so nice! It is a fun lake, bars everywhere - I think we called it the Lake Crawl, you (PONTOON) around the lake and hit every bar, but I haven't been since my early 30's.
In some areas they call the grandest places cottages. In the Adirondacks they called them camps. I just found this article and it was eye opening concerning discrimination.
LOL, well in my world (not so grand) a cottage is a cottage.
Hey, the contractor was here fixing a leaky spot in the roof. I showed him my falling down shed and he said it looked like an outhouse for the handicapped : )
Hilarious! So you understand!
If you have some time to kill Lisa check out the rustic retreats at "Cabin Porn" (warning, its not only fantastic, but addictive) http://freecabinporn.com/ and no, it has nothing to do with naked people!!
Just checked it out - the Adirondack Campers would not be happy in my camp. Ha ha
Lisa, I can tell it has been awhile :) 99.9% are homes. The price range is upper. Way upper, for our area.
In the 80s the drinking was done away with. If you are caught driving a boat while intoxicated--you loose your driver's license, your boat.... the fines are extremely HIGH!! Lot has changed since the 80s
There are more patrols on the lakes here then there are on our roads. Just sayin. But you can get a Designated Driver... I think. I use the lake to Ski ( too old ) and Fish so I don't ever worry too much about that law. I think there are only 5 bars that serve off the waters now.
I'm still trying to get Laurie to bring her boat here!
Hilarious that Roger is pointing in the wrong direction, I bet he did that on purpose.
Lovely photo, I wish I had remembered to try for a shot - bummed I didn't.
