Doodle Groomer Needed: West or Mid Los Angeles Area

Does anyone have a wonderful groomer that they would like to recommend?  We live in Los Angeles near Century City, but I am willing to drive a bit to get to a good, compassionate groomer.  I want to get Cocoa a nice trim, but I also want to make sure that she doesn't come home looking like a poodle!  (I like poodles, I just like Cocoa to look like a labradoodle!)

Hi Elsa,
We tried Health Spot for a bath/nail clip/and anal glands express a while back and didn't have such a positive experience. I saw this beautiful doodle on Montana and asked the owner where she had been groomed and that was it. Unfortunately, she came back with fleas and was very uncomfortable sitting down, if you get my drift, so I think whomever groomed her was a little too rough with her. I will wait and see what Lulu looks like after her coat calms down. Glad to get the name of someone who is good there though for options. And I didn't know you could pay extra to get them in and out and love that!!!

I groom my own girls but have occasionally taken them to the one and only groomer I trust. Denise and Todd at Kool Dog Kuts in Redondo Beach. I don't even live nearby but the drive is worth it. I like them scissor cut and supply copious notes and pix.

Digging up this old thread.  Does anyone have a groomer recommendation for Santa Monica/West LA area?  Only want scissor cuts, no shaving!  Thanks!
