Thanks. No worries, I have an idea for next month : )
It's impossible to have a favorite flower but peonies are way up there for me. I grew up in the midwest and now live in CA. We can't grow peonies here. They are so extravagant!
Until I was asked about the variety of one peony I posted, and attempted to look it up, I had no idea of the number of varieties for sale. Such varied colors and forms.
That's a beauty. I love photographing flowers too, they stay in one place and pose aside from being beautiful : )
They rarely stay still for me - it is almost always windy here.
Thanks F :) LOL - yes flowers do make the job much easier. Not like always trying for that perfect doodle picture.
F. They are all so pretty. What variety is the first peony? (For some reason my replies are not getting in the right place.)
Thanks. Sadly, I don't know about that peony. I have many pink ones from a plant I got from my father's garden many years ago. But I seem to have at least 4 or 5 varieties now. I buy things, they take a few years to get going, and then surprise me. I suspect it was a Costco or someplace like that deal but I really like it. I may try to look it up.
Incredible, Barbara!
