Need a collar/harness any ideas??
Hello!!! i am about to go out today and get my Chloe a new collar or harness. It is now kind of urgent as lastnight i took her to my sons soccer game and she was just so excited about all the kids that she pulled so hard her collar buckle came undone! didnt even know that was a possibility.
She is now 4 months old and weighs approx 23 pounds, and what i really need is something that i can have more of a handle on her when she is in this obnoxious state of mind (oh gosh i sound like Cesear).
She is generally a great walker and only ever pulls when there are people she "Needs" to see! at which i am trying to figure out the best solution to fix that little problem aswell:)
Leaving soon for the pet store so i hope i get some ideas in time!

Mine stay high but sometimes they do slide around the neck a bit. You should have it so that you can fit a finger under the collar. You'll see when you get it.

It's a little tricky to get it just right so that it doesn't slip down on the neck. My "collar wise" Dood has figured out that if he shakes his head just right he can move it down.

Better pet stores and Pet Supply Plus carries Sprenger collars. Here is a tip - don't get the large size collar - get the medium collar and buy extra links. It will be easier to get a good fit, adjust while your dog grows and will more than hold a big dood.

just got some bad news! the shipping to Canada is 25 dollars extra. Just to much for a collar at this time. I am going to look on ebay, but chances are they wont have the side release but ill keep looking!

How can that be. It seems exorbitant. Find out what the shipping from the states to you should be and maybe one of us can order it and repost it.

it is 25 for the collar and 25 for shipping to Canada so its the same price as the collar. Seems like a lot to me!
it would be 7 dollars shipping in the states, and im not really sure how to find out what shipping would be from the states to Canada

Sure is. I guess you could try looking on line or asking your post office. But of course I don't know how much the collars weigh but not that much.

Where do you live Michelle? I am in Sarnia and our local Pet Food Warehouse carries Sprenger collars.

i live in Stoney creek, Close to Hamilton Ontario. So about 2 hours away from Sarnia.
What is the name of the Pet store? maybe there is one close to me

Pet Food Warehouse - but I think they are just in Sarnia and Chatham. Look at any of the smaller pet suppy stores in your area. They will certainly have one in Hamilton.

I was going to order a Les Pooches Brush which in itself is expensive but the shipping was $25 for one brush, sorry but I don't think so.
