Doodle doodles everywhere

On Sunday while driving in front of my DD leaving a friends house I passed a young lady walking an obvious "ginger red" goldendoodle, he was tall and lanky and obviously an older puppy. Of course driving by made me slow down and ask "is that a doodle?" which of course caused my DD behind me to have her DH text me to stop talking to the doodle and drive. And then this morning while driving to work I passed a woman walking her, again obvious doodle but I was on a main road and could not ask which golden or lab....thinking to myself, wow, I sure have been seeing a lot of doodles lately and no sooner did I think that but I pulled next to another car with a cream colored doodle in it. We just smiled and nodded at each others doodles in our respective cars. I typically don't engage men, if it had been a woman I assure you we would have had a conversation.

Doodles doodles everywhere. Has anyone else noticed there seems to be a whole lot of them lately?

Interesting, it could be that when you have one you are apt. to notice a Doodle. Nothing to do this animal, but when ever I get a new car like my Saturn Vue I notice EVERY Saturn VUE on the street. Before I got the VUE never notice them before. People notice things they have around them and have interest in.

Frankly my husband and I started looking into getting a dog to add to our family. I was talking to a neighbor and was asking her about her Lab. She mention to me about the Doodle and that it may be a good dog for us. Had now ideal what a Doodle was. Then looked on the internet and a couple of phone apps and decided this would be a good dog for us. I have look at many dogs and the temperaments. And talked to my husband about the personalities of some dogs and decide the Goldendoodle was for us.

But have yet to see another Doodle in may area at least not yet. And we are still looking for a good breeder. I'm glad we did find this site. I have talk to many breeders but may be settling on one soon.

They are everywhere in Austin! But R&B are the cutest, IMO!!

Yes, I have noticed this too.  I have seen quite a few around the park where I run during the week.  Whenever I see a new one I usually ask "Goldendoodle or Labradoodle?" as the doodle owner runs past.
