My Abigail is so sweet and I love her to pieces and she knows I love her, however she has a habit that runs me crazy. All the time i am brushing her or attempting to,cut her facial hair ,,she wants to be mouthing my hands and nipping me or should I say biting me.

When I first bought her, she was11 weeks, old, I spent alot of time just touching her feet, her ears
and her body,to,get her used to it for the very purpose of making grooming easier.
Do you think I should groom her a couple of x a day for a very short period and treat profusely?
I need some help

She is probably just a very mouthy dog.  I have one who is very mouthy also but he loves to be brushed and groomed.  He does bite at me if I use the wrong brush.  It is his only way of telling me that he doesn't like it.  When I change brushes to one that he likes (one with small wires) he enjoys being brushed.  Also just pulling back your hands and saying "Aahhh" or a similar warning might give her the idea that YOU do not like her mouthiness.  Try a few different things.  I would not treat too much while grooming.  I give my dogs treats when they climb up the ramp onto the grooming table and when they are done with grooming, but not while grooming.  Maybe when you have them stand, or turn around, or anything new.

I am happy to report that I have used the bamboo comb several times now withou any mouthing. And....she even seems to enjoy it now. She just lies down and rests or chews on her bone or ball. This is amazing!!

Bamboo also makes a pin brush on one side and soft bristle brush on the either side. The comb works so well, that your almost dom't need a brush

I also saw something new on Amazon.com that I had not seen before. The product is called Scaredy Cut , for dogs that are frightened by the sound of clippers or the clicking noise of sissors. In essence they are barber sissors with the ball protection on the point, and serated edge and a special guard to attach the guide combs on.

Mine came today. I am excited to use it and scared too. It is so hot here I know she would be more comfortable with a shorter coat. she looks so pretty when she is combed that I am a little apprehensive about cutting.
I think I will wait until tomorrow LOL

So glad to hear that grooming is a more pleasurable experience for Abigal!! We love the Bamboo comb too!

I'm so curious to hear about the Scaredy Cut. It looks like quite a contraption! LOL! The reviews seem good though! Did you get a pink one? Good luck with the cut...tomorrow...or the next day....:)
