Looking for Goldendoodle breeder recs in VA/MD/DC

Hi everyone,

We are looking to bring a goldendoodle into our family, hopefully in late summer.  I have been researching breeders and have been in contact with a few.  I  know what I should be looking for in a reputable breeder, but would love to have personal recommendations (or if you have had a bad experience with a particular breeder, please let me know that as well).

I haven't gotten any feedback so far, but I will definitely share with you if I get any info.  It's kind of overwheling trying to figure out who to go with!

Just be sure to use the DK guidelines on what to look for in a breeder as your absolute minimum requirement. If you aren't familiar with them,  they are under the Help tab at the upper right corner of this (and every) page here on DK.

Have you looked through the groups section to see if there are any that include owners of doodles from the breeders you are considering?
