Has anyone heard of Dinovite? My mom's friend swears by it for itching but I'm skeptical:

Haha oh wow, I didn't even notice that. Thank you;] five minutes until edit time! lol
Go ahead, Ted. I made no accusations; I stated that Audra works for Dinovite, which is true. In fact, her dad owns Dynovite.
I also have made no claims. I did give a brief explanation on vitamin deficiency and absorption. And as far as "dismissing" my comments, I think Audra did a pretty good job of that in her original post, which is what started this little discussion in the first place.
"All premium dog foods contain more than enough of all vitamins and minerals required by a normal dog, and Orijen is about as good as kibble gets."
My understanding is that dry dog foods nutritional information is taken into account before the cooking process. Am I misinformed?
Yes, you are misinformed. The vitamins and minerals are added after cooking, which is why the specific compounds are listed separately on the labels, as ingredients put into the food by the manufacturer.
I for one find the information about the connection to Dynovite, which I did not know very helpful. A disclaimer on the part of Audra would have been appreciated. Golly, even the TV news folks do that.

And BTW, calling people hypocrites is not the way to make new friends.
again, you do not have to attack.
You come into a discussion, tell people about whom you know nothing that they are uneducated, uninformed, and judgmental, and you feel you were attacked?????
Thank you, Doris.
