Thants awesome!  They are wonderful, brilliant dogs.  they keep you on your toes, thats for sure.  She and Soph are completely opposite in looks, but they love each other so much.  We all so lucky to know how wonderful doodles are :).  And I can see why you love your labradoodle so much, she is beautiful!

We are newly engaged, so we haven't really even started planning anything at all yet, but I can definitely say they will be involved in some way.  and for sure in pictures.  They are like our kids and we want them to be apart of it!  Are you guys going to involve your little cutie in your wedding??

Our venue only allows dogs in the gardens, but our dog walker/sitter offers a 'wedding day' service, where she will board the dog and will drive to the venue (it's nearby) for an hour or two during the outside drinks reception and photos, so she can be in the pictures.  I wish we could have her more involved, but if I think about it, she'd probably rather a nice run in the woods and a nap in a cosy bed.  My brother had me walk his dog down the aisle and stand as a grooms-dog in a colour-coordinated ribbon/leash.  Sounds OTT, but was cute.

Enjoy the wedding planning :)  It's almost as consuming as raising a puppy!

I think that sounds like the perfect compromise!  Thats my main thing, I would love to have them in the pictures.  haha the grooms-dog sounds cute!

Thank you!  Sounds like I have a lot to keep me busy :)

They are great dogs :)  We picked Soph out because she was named Maggie by the breeder, and the original Maggie was so wonderful.  It seemed like a good sign, and she has definitely lived up to it.  Of course we had already picked out the breeder and litter we wanted before knowing her name, but this just seemed like a nudge in the right direction when we did find out!

Hi Everyone,

Barry and I have been married for almost 31 years; we met while working as counselors at a day camp!  We have two children, and soon will have two dogs!  Our first dog was a goldendoodle who was named Simon. Now we have Wally (a six-year-old labradoodle), and we are about to add a labradoodle puppy to our family. Here is a picture of me, Barry and Wally that was taken a little more than a year ago at a park in Savannah, Georgia.

Okay Laurie - what is your secret?  You guys could pass for 31!
