"THIS JUST IN!!! E-MAIL FROM SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE:

WE ARE AT OUR GOAL!!! With the projected donations coming in the mail over the next few days, we know we will have met the goal!! We just updated the web site with the $2,160 total so far, and we will be updating the site as Sophie has her surgery. Thank you for networking with your people to help us reach the goal. What a great, caring group of people.

UPDATE: SOPHIE HAD HER SURGERY YESTERDAY- MONDAY, DECEMBER 1st- BOTH EYES!
And I am told everything went well!

That is the best news I have heard in just about forever! I am so happy that she will now have the chance to see and play like other puppies!

I am going to ask Adina to update the title of this thread so everyone will know! I hope Nancy @ Second Chance will keep us posted on her recovery, so I can let you all know how she's doing.
