Recently I changed Bella to Rachel Ray Nutrish Chicken and Veggie food. 1/4 way into the bag Bella started having bloody, mucous, and runny stools. This has happened 3 times and have been to the vet and have done testing and now just realizing it may be the food since she does fine when she is on a bland diet of turkey and rice. Also she gets an occasional dog cookie which has never given her any problems and I have also been giving her plain yogurt for a treat.

Hi Tina, How is Bella doing today?
Christine & Camus, Bella never really seems to feel bad, still on the rice and turkey for a few more days until I decide what food is going to be best for her.
Thanks for asking!! :)

The only problem with some of these is that they contain oatmeal, which is one of the ingredients in the Nutrish food Bella is eating. My first instinct would have been the Acana formulas, but I was looking for a different carb source. They are all good limited ingredient foods, though. The Natural Balance foods, which JD is on, are very low in protein, so I do hesitate to recommend those when there is an alternative.
