Do you realize? What to do? 10,000
As I started writing this there were 9,578 DK members. There may be more as I finish given my typing skills. Somehow with the Olympics starting this gave me some thoughts about what we are going to do to celebrate 10,000 members. I hope it doesn't happen when some folks are off cruising and boozing or snoozing. It needs to be fun and special and heaven forbid not like the fireworks,
or was it confetti,
that we had for 5,000 members, which messed up the site as I recall. Of course, Adina, OFL (Our Fearless Leader), would have to approve and she may already have a spectacle planned. But it seemed to me we need to start thinking now.
Isn't it amazing?

Sorry, that doesn't sound like fun. I do donate to both DK and DRC and I think that donating is a good idea though. And each of us is a select few since the majority of the 10,000 is not active and would not donate.

It is amazing. I thought dk was really wide-spread when we approached 5,000 members and look at us now!

10,000+ people and 10,000+ doodles...on a pontoon boat..it does conjure up quite an image!

I have enough trouble with two doodles on a pontoon :) Only the ones from the training group can come...LOL....and they can teach Fudge and Vern to behave!

I think we should all send $5 to Adina and let her decide a contest with a big prize!

I don't think we should reward the 10,000 member if we decide on a prize or something. After all, all that person will have done was to come along at the right time. A contest might be fun and would be more likely to reward a loyal DK person.

I agree with this. Imagine if the 10,000th member was one of these people who join DK to sell something.
