Do you realize? What to do? 10,000

As I started writing this there were 9,578 DK members. There may be more as I finish given my typing skills. Somehow with the Olympics starting this gave me some thoughts about what we are going to do to celebrate 10,000 members. I hope it doesn't happen when some folks are off cruising and boozing or snoozing. It needs to be fun and special and heaven forbid not like the fireworks,

or was it confetti,

that we had for 5,000 members, which messed up the site as I recall. Of course, Adina, OFL (Our Fearless Leader), would have to approve and she may already have a spectacle planned. But it seemed to me we need to start thinking now.

We all hope so!  So what is up, Adina?  I found my old books that were done by Shutterfly and they were the first half of the year in 2009.  Three years ago.  It seems longer than that.  I know how to send copies of Shutterfly books now so if anyone wants copies just send me your e-mail address.  And they are both VIRTUAL trips.  Mostly mady by Marcia and me but hosted by lots of other doodles.

Karen, feel better soon.  Keep ice or a cold pack on your hand.  Your idea of having Jackdoodle pull you in a wagon was great, but then I was picturing ... what if Jackdoodle sees a squirrel or a playmate.  OMD you better stay away from cooking and wagons!  : )

Thanks, Cheryl! JD is not really big on chasing things or playing with other dogs, so a wagon might still be a good idea, but I'll be very happy to stay away from cooking, lol.
