Camilla had suggested some people might want to do another assignment and this was one idea. Here is a link to where she explains it.

Some of you are great editors so we look forward to seeing what you come up with. I volunteer to have Camilla explain to the rest of us how to do this : )

Ditto, F!
What a fun assignment! I'm sorry I missed it. I sure had fun looking through all of the terrific submissions today!
This last one makes me smile. Thank you! I needed that today. :)
and to think I was going to pitch all of them and not post. So glad the photo made you smile.
We have a famous artist who lives in our area who makes Suns. Many of our buildings, highways, and sculptures have Don Drumm's Suns. Metal, wood, concrete floors, you name it. I think because we are a cloudy area and we need the fake suns. . So I took it for granted.

It's funny how many things around us we take for granted. I've noticed that when I am in the habit of lugging my camera around with me everywhere I go (which doesn't last long because my favorite lens is my 70-200 so that dang thing weighs a ton) I see SOOOO many interesting things around me that I would ordinarily not look at twice. Things like drops of dried paint on the concrete that makes an interesting pattern... or the texture of the concrete on the side of a building... or a cloud formation that's particularly striking.
I say TG for Point and Shoots. I take mine often. Not as good but good enough and better than nothing : ) And we'll see what my phone yields when I figure it out.
Love all of these. Somehow I like the tire best!
