Please tell Baxter to stop biting my ears....I had to go to the vet today:(

My mommy was worried about my ear cause my baby brother Baxter LOVES to bite my ears and my tail.  One of my ears was bothering me a lot and even though my mom was putting lots of stuff in there it was still pretty red and yucky looking.  Sure enough the vet looked at it and said no ear infection but lots of little bite marks..... I was going to post a picture of it but my mommy said it would be better if everyone just used their imagination.....picture below of me just back from the vet:( 

Baxter went to the vet with me but for some reason he didn't get in trouble for biting me. Everyone just thinks he is so darned cute but I am much more better behaved.  My mom and dad call Baxter the Happy Hooligan!

So Baxter please chew on your antlers and Kongs and all the other stuff good puppies are supposed to be chewing on.......I forgot to tell you that Baxter LOVES mom's sandals.....your big brother Jake:(

Aw, Jake, we're sorry your little brother is such a pain in the neck ears! He is cute, but handsome is as handsome does, and well-behaved doodles like you and me shouldn't have to put up with bratty little brothers no matter how cute they are!

I wish I could come there and tell him to stop chewing on you! But until I can, this will have to do:

HEY, BAXTER! STOP CHEWING ON JAKE'S EARS! I MEAN IT! DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE!

I hope that helps, Jake. If all else fails, you could always offer him your mom's sandal in place of your ear.

What if you put some bitter apple on Jake's ears and tail where Baxter chews?  I don't know if that would deter Baxter at all but maybe.......      Too bad Jake doesn't just growl him off.  I am sure Baxter will outgrow it in time.

hmm..... I will have to tell mom about that.  I do growl at him...A LOT but mom says he hasn't learned about boundaries yet.

Jake it sounds like Baxter is using his cuteness factor to get away with murder ear destruction!  Maybe it's time you gave him a little (not too big!!) nip back so he can see how it feels!  Hope your ear is better real soon!!!

Jack-I told Baxter to watch out for you but he doesn't seem very scared....

Zoe-I have a friend in the neighborhood with your name!  I'm a fast runner too but Baxter seems to be growing these long legs and can now catch up with me.

Jake, I know what you mean, my sisters boxer was the recipient of many little bite holes on her neck...the only place her little sister could reach. It use to upset my Mom, (her Grandma) but Lexi, the big sister didn't give a hoot!

He isn't nearly as good looking as you are...but I see how people might think he is.
