Easy way to give Meds!

I have been using " Kraft, Easy Cheese in the can" to give Willow her meds. It does not require refrigeration after opened, taste is great, she loves it, it is real cheese. I put pill on my finger, squeeze a little cheese on it and she thinks she is getting a treat.

I love it that I can leave the can with her pills and take both with me everywhere I go.

Greenies Pill Pockets work really well also. You can get them at Petsmart: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3049102  If it's a small pill you can pinch the pocket in half to make it go further. Be sure to keep the top sealed well so they stay soft.

Mine all spit the pills out. Its like three year  olds at my house. I make peanut butter sandwiches and we go from there giving little bites of the sandwich then comes the one with the pill. Sometimes it makes it down their throat and sometimes it on the floor. I"ll try the cheese. Thanks ....

Cheap sliced American cheese at our house.  You can squish it around the pill and they sometimes even swallow without chewing.
