I went to buy Daisy's Acana (Pacifica, Grain Free) at my normal place, a local Vet's office and they were out. The excuse was the fire in the plant! Ugh. I will try the local specialty shop next, the one that price matched for me. If I can't get it there I will try PetFlow (maybe hook up under a new account using DH).
Wish me luck.
Has anyone else had an issue?

I think Daisy would agree!
If the Acana bags are the same as the orijen bags, they are vacuum sealed, That's one of the reasons JD's dermatologist recommends the brand: no storage mites.
The Acana bags used to be sealed very tightly with a vacuum and you could feel the bumps from the kibble through the bag. There was a great whoosh of air when you opened the bag. For a while they seemed to be sealed with less of a vacuum but I think they have more of a vacuum again.
What you described was what I had with the Orijen, F.
I have had them both ways, but the last 2 times they were def vacuumed sealed.
Does anyone think it's funny that the equipment failure took place in "MORINville" (how about moronville. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I really hope you can get your hands on some of the food... soon!
Who wants to do my math?
If I ordered enough to get me through March how many should I order? Here is my history
Opened Large Bags
In that time I also used a medium bag of Acana Lamb and Apple as a mix
What I have in stock
* 1/2 bag of medium Lamb and Apple left
* 1/2 bag of large Grasslands
* one large unopened bag Grasslands
I was able to get Daisy's Acana from Pet People (the one that price matched for me). Perhaps the Vet's office just isn't one of the high demand places Champion sends to.
I was just at our local Especially for Pets store the other day and they had plenty of Acana on hand. Hopefully, it stays that way.
