Another introduction
Here's Kolsch - he came home yesterday. It sounds like Laurie & I got littermates! We're not 100% on the name yet, but it seems to be fitting and sticking. The other name finalists were Jacques or Cousteau (his "sister", Callie's real name is Calpyso), Decker, Randall, or Delmar. We were actually leaning toward Cousteau before we saw him. Any votes?
He did well on the 2.5 hour drive home from the breeder. Did good overnight - 2 wake ups to go outside, but went right back to sleep in his crate. Callie is still unsure of her new brother, but I'm sure things will get better in the coming days.
Cute thing we've noticed #1: he wags his tail when he eats or drinks.

He is adorable. I think you need to open the back door and practice yelling some of those names along with Callie. Some of them don't come off the tongue real easy along with Callie ...

I agree...we called Sam, Herbie, for a few days, we are big Nebraska fans! Then I called for him and said Herb and it just didn't work for me! So we named him Sam. Sam and Eli...easy to yell out the back door!

Nancy, Ned, and Clancy's version of Ball Buster was when Clancy's name at the shelter was BUCK.
Her husband said, " No way am I yelling, Buck, Off. Buck, off"

Most definitely =Buck was a no go. Yet it is a nice name - maybe for a horse cuz you don't yell at/for them.
