My Charlie is a picky eater.  He hasn't eaten in 2 or 3 days and you can hear his tummy gurgling from 2 weeks away.  He loves muffins so I decided to bake some muffins with ground up dog food and cheese in them.  He ate a couple of them, but when I wasn't looking he just took the paper muffin thing that I baked it in and ate that.  He left half the muffin but I guess that paper was tasty.  Will this hurt him at all?  Or just come out the other end?  Maybe he felt like he needed some extra fiber.

P.S. I really hate it when she finds feral kitty treats in the yard :(

I don't want her getting sick so I do go and dig them out of her mighty jaws. Now that is gross !

We took the door and cut a hole in the bottom large enough for a cat to walk through but small enough Spud can not go through. You might be able to just put in a tiny doggie door.  But we just took the jigsaw and cut the hole and hung it back up. Works PERFECT

OMD ! We actually have a "cat" door that they used to use to go into the basement ! We put the slide in it and stopped their basement visits when my husband started using it as his workshop. They have missed going down there too. I never even gave it a thought since Finnley arrived, to let them back down there. It certainly would uncomplicate things. Our last dog who passed, was absolutely the most perfect mannered dog ever. She never touched the cats food, which we put right next to hers, she never tried raiding the litter box, and she never barked ! Seriously, we were spoiled !
Now Finnley is putting us to the test. Thanks for jogging my memory about the cat door ! :)

Here is pic of Jewel just this morning with her paper. It is her 2nd birthday today!

Awww, Such a cutie! Happy belated birthday, Jewel.

Happy birthday Jewel! Looks like you decided on your favorite present LOL

You are such a nice DM! making doodle muffins! I am sure there is no problem with him eating a muffin liner.

Owen eats so much cellulose my DH announces when he has found his poop without any in it! We have a nightly game of Owen waiting for DH to get up from dinner so he can snatch the napkin. In fact whenever my DH gets up from the couch for anything, Owen dashes over and snorks around for a napkin. We do take paper out of his mouth all day long but nonetheless lots of it passes right through.

His biggest "paper" incident was when he ate an entire dry diaper. Our grandchildren were with staying with us and I came down from taking a nap while my DD had the kids at a park. Owen had eaten an entire diaper. I panicked because the stuff in diapers absorbs so much liquid that I was afraid he would die from it absorbing all the liquid his stomach and intestines. Our vet is about 6 blocks away. I called my DD and told her I was heading to the vet and to meet me there. (Owen is actually her dog.) She met me with the kids. Our 5 year old granddaughter was fascinated by the whole process of making Owen vomit. He only vomited a little of it. The rest passed.

Wilson does too , in fact he ate part of one of my recipes I had by the computer, so tonight I am going to wing it,

Luna is a brazen tissue eater - she will steal a (always used) tissue and plant herself right between us to shred it.  At least she's easy to catch!
