Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hello all,
I live in Windsor, CT and have the wonderful opportunity of serving as the New England area Director for Doodle Rescue Collective Inc. I've been saving homeless doodles for the past 3 years and it is a cause very near to my heart.
I'm putting out a call to fellow doodle lovers, DRC is in need of volunteers to help us save homeless doodles in New England. We really need volunteers to foster dogs, the crucial first step in saving these dogs and preparing them for the new lives they have ahead of them.We also need volunteers to drive the dogs to their new homes or pick them up at the shelters or truckstops.
Please consider helping our cause. Feel free to read articles on the DRC website regarding volunteering to help save doodles.
Thank you for your concern for these homeless dogs.

Hi Liz,
Although I do not think we could offer foster care - as I already have two very spoiled doodles in residence - I would be interestd in learning more about picking up and delivering doodles to their new homes/picking them up? The application appeared to be just for fosters. Please send along any additonal information. Thanks.
Liz,
I'd be willing to foster. We live in New Milford (Litchfield Co.) and have a 3 1/2 year old chocolate doodle from Patty Barnes. I looked at the foster application and it is ridiculously (and insultingly) long and complex. I love dogs, love doods, and have had dogs all my life. I'd love to help the breed as Tully is the best dog I've ever had. My email is kjbrady@snet.net. I hope to hear from you.
