In Canada We don't really have a Black Friday as it isn't a Holiday for us- but a lot of stores are trying to compete with teh cross border /online shopping. There is actually a 'By Nothing Day' Movement on that day. (tough day to do it but I like the notion).

Well, I have a confession to make.  Our tree is up......and it has been up since December of last year!  The year before we managed to take it down in April, this year, oh why bother, we like it!  LOL   It is in a room that we don't have much happening and really the reason we do this?  Since we have remarried, EVERY DAY IS CHRISTMAS!   :) :)

yes, artificial for sure, looks real tho.  When my daughter who lives a light-year away from me came to visit this past summer, I wanted pics in front of the tree, she refused!  what nerve!  lol

THe ONLY reason my tree is not up yet is because over Thanksgiving weekend my very loving friends are pulling my carpet up and laying floor, My dear friend came with a cherry picker two weeks ago and hung lights all over my house for me on the outside

I also have my Thanksgiving flag out and my halloween pumpkins .. WHY OH WHY Can't Thanksgiving and CHristmas be friends??? LOL
